Dexter Rogers is an independent documentary filmmaker, freelance sports journalist, and author. As a writer, Rogers has been published or referenced in the likes of the New Times, USA Today, LA Times, ESSENCE Magazine, The Philadelphia Inquirer, to name a few. He was also a featured columnist for Bleacher Report and the Huffington Post. His talents has enabled him to be credentialed to cover multiple Super Bowls, World Series, US Open Tennis, ESPN’s the ESPY’s, and other marquee sporting events.

As a filmmaker Rogers has directed and produced a documentary titled, No Ordinary Joe, which explores the life of NFL pioneer Joe Gilliam. The official release is currently pending. Rogers has also began working on two other documentary projects titled, After the Cheering Stops and Against the Grain.

As an author, Rogers has decided to expand his range as a writer and delve into other domains of life. With his first book titled, The Interview: Questions Men Must Ask Before Marriage, and his soon to be released, Are Women the Prize: An Analysis of Dating in the Modern World, Rogers explores the dating and relationship arena. With his book titled, Manifestation: How to Identify and Live in Your Purpose, Rogers provides a blueprint on how others can identify the purpose and live in their God-given truth. Lastly, in Rogers’ book titled, A Mother’s Wisdom, he chronicles some the most important pieces of wisdom taught to him by his later mother Carrie Bell Rogers. This book explores intricate parts of Rogers’ life in showcasing how his mother’s wisdom continues to guide him daily.

In his spare time, Rogers likes to garden, play sports (tennis, golf, basketball), read, exercise, cook, listen to music, build wood-working projects, and traveling.
